NACIL
(A) proposes to send two B777-200 ER aircraft with PW4090 engines to FAA-145 approved MRO to carry out redelivery ‘Check-C’ routine and
painting in white.
Please
note the FAA approved organizations, not holding valid Approval from Indian
DGCA in category ‘C’ (Maintenance of aircraft), may be required to obtain the
same prior to award of contract for accomplishing the above check.

The detailed work package, format of Technical
Quotes and Financial Quotes are enclosed, herewith.
Please note that since these are redelivery ‘Check-C’ routines:
- The Aircraft must be completed with in committed
period.
- One or two
representatives of lessor will be present at the facility during the
grounding of aircraft.
MROs, who have slot available only for one aircraft,
as per planned slot of Air India,
can also quote for one aircraft.
For seats refurbishment of both the aircraft, a
different tender is being uploaded on Air India
website refer tender no: RFQ/B777/Drylease/164. Work scope of this tender is
limited to removal and installation of entire ship set of seats.
Air India
reserves the rights to award the contract of both the aircraft to two different
MROs.
You are requested to provide the quote latest by 10th
March 2010 (0900 IST) by e-mail. The Technical
quotes may please be forward at ppdquotes@airindia.in
and financial quote at mpdquotes@airindia.in.
Confirmation of having quoted as above may please be faxed to: +91-22-26157068. Please
note that quotes forwarded by any other means except above-mentioned are liable
for rejection.
The Technical Quotes will be opened on 10th
March 2010 at 1100 hrs LT and Financial Quotes will be opened on 12th
March 2010 at 1430 hrs LT. If you so desire, you may depute your representative
to be present at the time of opening of the tenders.
